Earlier today, Hong Kong allowed some 3,600 hundred people off of a cruise ship where people have been quarantined after they were cleared of the 2019-nCoV Wuhan Coronavirus.  No such luck in Yokohama, Japan.

Health officials quoted by Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS) said there were 60 more confirmations of coronavirus infections aboard the Diamond Princess.  That brings total cases on the ship docked in Yokohama, south of Tokyo, to 130.  One of the patients is in a serious condition.  Many of the ship's passengers are elderly, and the Wuhan conoravirus has impacted people older than 60 disproportionately.

Most of the passengers will remain on board under quarantine at least until 19 February.  If the number of new infections continues to rise, it could delay the date when people can finally get off the boat.

Japan already had 26 cases of coronavirus before the situation on the cruise ship.
