Good Morning Australia!! - Trump's racism on full display - The delusions delusions created by xenophobia - Aussies are injured in the Running of the Bulls - And more in your CareerSpot Global News Briefs:

Democratic US Congresswomen are hitting back at Donald Trump over his blatantly racist suggestion the four progressive freshman lawmakers should "go back" to the "broken and crime infested" places they "came from".   The xenophobic suggestion was simultaneously idiotic, because three of the four - including firebrand Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez - were born in the United States.  AOC shot right back, "But given how you've destroyed our border with inhumane camps, all at a benefit to you & the (corporations) who profit off them, you are absolutely right about the corruption laid at your feet," she said, referring to the human rights violations going on in Trumps' immigration detention centers.

The one who was born outside the US was Minnesota Democrat Ilhan Omar, a Somali refugee who earned her US citizenship exactly the way anti-immigration forces claim they support.  Ms. Omar reminded Trump that "the only country we swear an oath to is the United States" and accused him of "stoking white nationalism" because the Democrats are "fighting against your hate-filled agenda".  She finished with a quote from Robert F. Kennedy, "America's answer to the intolerant man is diversity, the very diversity which our heritage of religious freedom has inspired."

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had clashed with her more liberal newbies recently, but lined up with them to condemn Trump's racism.  Ms. Pelosi noted that the four are all people of color and included two Muslims - and said this is just more proof that Trump's "plan to 'Make America Great Again' has always been about making America white again".  No major (or minor) Republicans condemned Trump's racist attack.

Anyway..

Donald Trump pulled the US out of the JCPOA - the Iran Nuclear Deal - to spite his predecessor Barack Obama.  That's the bombshell from another leaked memo written by the UK's former ambassador to the US.  Sir Kim Darroch described the move as an act of "diplomatic vandalism", according to the account published in the Trump-aligned Daily Mail.  Boris Johnson, who is considered to be the likely next Prime Minister, at the time was UK Foreign Minister and pleaded with the US to stay in the JCPOA - critics say Johnson was the catalyst for Sir Kim's resignation last week, accusing Johnson of throwing the veteran diplomat "under the bus".

German police removed two hundred black crosses placed on roads by far-right activists, supposedly commemorating German people allegedly killed by foreigners since reunification in 1990.  Aside from blighting the landscape, the problem is that immigrants didn't kill hundreds or thousands or dozens of Germans in that time - it's just misinformation from the far right.  The crosses began appearing every July in 2014, just before the immigration crisis of 2015.

Two Australians were gored on the final day of the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain, a tourist spectacle decried as cruel to the animals by activists.  Health officials said the wounds were not life-threatening.  DFAT said, "We stand ready to offer consular assistance, in accordance with the Consular Services Charter, to any Australian citizen, should they request it."

A French inventor flew and hovered above the annual Bastille Day parade in Paris aboard his Flyboard, stunning onlookers under the extremely approving gaze of President Emmanuel Macron, standing with his guests from around Europe.  Former jet-skiing champion Franky Zapata carried a rifle to illustrate the potential military and law enforcement uses for this turbine jet-powered gizmo - which was confirmed by Armed Forces Minister Florence Parly in a local radio interview.  The Flyboard can reach speeds of up to 190 kilometers per hour and can run for 10 minutes.

After the parade, Yellow Vest protesters and police clashed on a Champs Elysees.  Molotovs, tear gas, water cannons, and a good time as had by all.

Opposition candidates and a thousand supporters rallied at Moscow city hall, after election officials left them off an upcoming election ballot because their nominating petitions allegedly didn't have enough signatures.  Demonstrators chanted, "We are the authority here!" and, "Putin is a thief."
