The South Australian government is kicking in grant money to bring an IT company focused on cloud technology to Adelaide.

PrimeQ plans to establish an innovation centre, 24/7 support hub and graduate program.  It's expected to create 72 jobs over the next three years, on top of the existing staff.  The company already has Heinz, Pacific Brands, Parliament of Victoria, and the Queensland University of Technology among its customers.  Chief executive Andrew McAdams says growing in Adelaide will help the company find more global clients and provide better services to them.

SA's "Investment Attraction South Australia" agency wrote a AU$500,000 grant to facilitate PrimeQ's move.  Investment Minister Martin Hamilton-Smith released a statement revealing his hopes for the graduate program:  "It represents a rare pathway for students to advance to senior ranks in highly skilled careers here," he said.
