Heads were turning at the news Subaru Forester display at the Singapore auto show this week, although the durable suburban family wagon wasn't the reason.

Nope, it was the new trim level being offered:  the Forester Ultimate Customised Kit Special edition.  Wait, doesn't that acronym spell...

Forester Ultimate Customised Kit Special edition

Yes.  That's exactly what it spells.

So, is it a faux pas?  Unlikely, that acronym spells out the most famous word in the English language, known throughout the world.  A Subaru of America representative seemed to think that the name came from an independent regional distributor.

The vehicle appears in Subie's World Rally Blue, more associated with the famed and revered WRX and WRX-STi line of hot compacts.  The interior features red stitching, while the seats are decked out in leather and suede.  It also comes with an impressive sound system, which makes sense for the kind of person who'd buy a car with that acronym.
