US president-elect Donald Trump tweeted a cryptic denial after the leak of a wee bit of info that trickled out but quickly became a stream, alleging that the Russians had embarrassing personal information on him.  He seemed rather pissed off.

"FAKE NEWS - A TOTAL POLITICAL WITCH HUNT!" a defensive Trump tweeted in all caps on Tuesday evening, after the stories began swirling around the bowl.  CNN was first to report that the heads of America's intelligence agencies gave President Barack Obama and the president-elect with a two page summary of how Russian agents targeted "Trump's personal obsessions and sexual perversion".  Buzzfeed later published the document.

"According to (a source), where s/he had been present, Trump's (perverted) conduct in Moscow included hiring the presidential suite of the Ritz Carlton Hotel," the documents claim, "where he knew President and Mrs. Obama (whom he hated) had stayed on one of their official trips to Russia, and defiling the bed where they had slept by employing a number of prostitutes to perform a 'golden showers' (urination) show in front of him."

Within hours, the hashtag "#GoldenShowers" was all over social media, and grandmothers all over the world were shocked when they googled the phrase and found out what it meant.

The allegations were presented to Trump at least wee k's intel briefing on Russian hacking and propaganda efforts to disrupt the US presidential election.  The Russians purportedly have videos of the 2013 incident, which they call "kompromat," or compromising material.  The goal would have been to use them to blackmail Trump into taking positions favorable to Russia.  Which, totally coincidentally, he has already done.

Trump's lawyer denied a part of the dossier that said he had engaged in covert meetings with Russian agents in Prague; Michael Cohen says he has never been to the Czech capital.  As proof, he tweeted a photo of the outside of his passport.

None of the allegations have been substantiated.  The dossier reportedly was assembled by a former British MI6 agent once assigned to Moscow who is now a private security consultant.  At some point, the information made its way into the possession of US Senator John McCain, a Trump critic and 2008 Presidential candidate.  Both sources gave the info to the FBI, which appears to have sat on it until after the election.
