Australia's growing logistics and warehousing industries have shown impressive growith in 2016 and are predicted to expand in worth to AU$187 Billion by the year 2021.

A new study by Ken Research credits several factors:  The expanding manufacturing and retail sectors; a growing number of foreign companies in Australia; increasing value of exports and imports in the country; and enhanced productivity across the wider supply chain of businesses in numerous industries caused by digitization.

Australia's shipping infrastructure was grow to meet the increased movement.  So, the government has allocated around AU$70 Billion for transport infrastructure improvements from 2014 to 2021.  There are also plans to spend AU$75 Billion on road and rail infrastructure from 2018 to 2027.

Freight forwarding industry will grow in importance and account for more of the total revenue.
