The small business courier service Sendle announced plans to open more parcel drop off points, with the goal to exceed the number of Australia Post offices.

With its partner Hubbed, Sendle has created 24/7 parcel drop-off and collection points across hundreds of BP service stations, newsagents and pharmacies within Australia.

In the six months since launching the 24/7 points, traffic has increased up to 204 percent a month.

The company claims that its expanded network will include parcel drop-off and collection points that are more more convenient than Post and operate 24/7.

"It’s all about convenience and it’s all about choice.  We've been testing our drop-off locations and have seen amazing traction with the 24/7 ones at BP," said Sendle founder James Chin-Moody.  "We are all about choice in a market where there hadn't been any choice before."
