Officials broke ground on a new $128 Million logistics and development facilities at Marsden Park in Sydney.

Darren Searle, LOGOS’s Head of Australia and New Zealand said, "We are excited to have received the green light to start construction at the Marsden Park Logistics Estate, and thank the NSW Planning Minister, the Department of Planning, and the local Blacktown Council for their ongoing support for the Estate."

Now that the government has approved the new 107,500 square meter facility, businesses are planning to move in:  Logistics provider eStore committed to a five year lease, while produce distributor and packer Valleyfresh signed on for ten years.

NSW Minister for Planning Anthony Roberts said Marsden Park's growth is attracting new business investment.

"It's another clear signal of Western Sydney's strong reputation as a major economic and industrial powerhouse.  In fact, the value of industrial building approved in Greater Sydney in 2017 more than doubled to $3.75 Billion.  A lot of that activity was in Western Sydney, including in Marsden Park, where employment lands contribute over 220,000 jobs and generate about $125 Billion of output," said Mr. Roberts.
