Syria’s state news agency is blaming Rebels for setting fire to three oil wells in the east part of the war torn country.  It’s a growing problem for the cash-strapped government that already dealing with international sanctions and the costly 2 year civil war.

The SANA news agency claims the rebels set the wells alight after failing to agree on how to split up the profits, and that the rebels have burned nine wells in recent months. 

Rebels trying to topple the regime of Bashar as-Assad have seized large areas of territory in Syria's oil-rich east, including a number of oil fields, but they lack the ability to exploit them.

Also in the Syrian Civil War, the bodies of 11 people including 8 women were found near the city of Homs.  Human Rights observers say they died in a government military sweep of the area.

And heavy shelling in the city of Aleppo have sent hundreds of civilians fleeing for safety.
