Good Morning Australia!! - An FBI investigation fails to resolve American division - The world is risking another global financial crisis - The dictator who was un-pardoned - And more in your CareerSpot Global News Briefs:

The US FBI has sent its report on Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh to the US Senate, where Democrats are complaining that key witnesses where avoided and not interviewed.  Republicans say the report shows no corroboration of the accusations against Kavanaugh.  That could be because the FBI didn't interview Kavanaugh or his chief accuser Christine Blasey Ford, who said Kavanaugh tried to rape her in the 1980s; nor were two former classmates who've come forward to accuse Kavanaugh of lying under oath about his youthful drinking habits; nor was anyone interviewed who could have supported the stories of the three accusers.  "The most notable part of this report is what's not in it," said California Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein, "It looks to be the product an incomplete investigation that was limited; perhaps by the White House, I don't know."

Protesters flooded the halls of the US Senate office building to show their opposition to Kavanaugh, after the FBI report became news.  Several arrests were made, including actor Amy Schumer.  "Whose courts? Our courts!" they chanted, trying to put pressure on the four supposedly undecided senators before Saturday's vote on confirming Kavanaugh to a lifetime appointment to the highest court in the most powerful nation on earth.  The one Democrat and three Republicans - including Jeff Flake of Arizona, who called for the FBI investigation after he was famously confronted in a senate elevator be a sexual assault survivor - will hold the key to the Kavanaugh nomination.
