Howdy Australia!! - The Black Boxes from the Boeing 737 Max 8 crash have been recovered - A top Democrat dashes hopes of impeaching Trump - At least one president realized he stayed too long - And more in your CareerSpot Global News Briefs:

Investigators recovered both the flight data recorder and the cockpit voice recorder from Ethiopian Airlines Flight ET302 which crashed over the weekend, killing all 157 passengers and crew.  Debris at the crash site in agricultural land outside Addis Ababa is small and scattered, but the recorders could shed more light on what happened.  So could eyewitness accounts:  "Fire was following its tail, then it tried to lift its nose," said farm work Gadisa Benti who watched the crash.  "When it passed over our house, the nose pointed down and the tail raised up.  It went straight to the ground with its nose, it then exploded."

But even before there are any conclusions, there are concerns about the model aircraft.  The Boeing 737 MAX 8 was practically brand new, as was the same model aircraft lost in last year's Lion Air crash in the Java Sea.  "It's highly suspicious," said Mary Schiavo, former Inspector General of the US Transportation Department, "Here we have a brand-new aircraft that's gone down twice in a year.  That rings alarm bells in the aviation industry, because that just doesn't happen."  With 346 people dead in two 737 MAX 8 crashes in a year, China, Indonesia, South Africa, and Ethiopia have grounded the aircraft pending investigations.

Algeria's President Abdelaziz Bouteflika has said he will not seek a fifth term.  His candidacy had provoked large and intensifying protests across Algeria over the past few weeks.  But he's also delaying the election until after a national conference on political and constitutional reform to be carried out by the end of 2019, which will be closely watched by opposition.  Meanwhile, the military's chief of staff said the armed forces and the people had a united vision of the future - that's a good indication that the military is sympathetic to the protests.

UK Prime Minister Theresa May is in Strasbourg for yet another attempt at last-ditch talks to get concessions out of the European Union to sell a Brexit deal to Parliament.  At just over two weeks until the UK is to divorce itself from the continental union, May has been unable to sell the current plan to Parliament let alone her own government.  Despite May's frequent trips to Strasbourg and Brussels, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said there had "not been a single change" to the agreement since it was heavily defeated by MPs in January and it was still a "bad deal".   The UK is due to leave the EU on 29 March.

US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi may have broken hearts of her fellow Democrats by appearing to take the possible impeachment of Donald Trump off the table.  "Impeachment is so divisive to the country that unless there's something so compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan, I don’t think we should go down that path, because it divides the country," she told the Washington Post, "And he's just not worth it."  Despite that, Pelosi acknowledged that Trump, in her opinion, is "ethically unfit, intellectually unfit, curiosity-wise unfit," to be US President.  Pelosi famously angered Democrats in 2006 for taking impeachment of George W. Bush off the table, despite the faked intelligence that led to the Iraq War.

A minor league football club in Germany is attempting damage control after sponsoring a memorial anda minute's silence for a dead neo-nazi ultra at a game.  Chemnitzer FC chief executive Thomas Uhlig has resigned for permitting the tribute to Tommy Haller, who founded the group "HooNaRa" - short for "Hooligans, Nazis, Racists".  The team's main sponsor said it's out after the end of the season.  Chemnitz, in southeastern Germany, was disrupted by several far-right and overtly racist riots by nazi scum opposed to immigration.
