Good Morning Australia!! - Is the US deliberately screwing with a prominent critic of Donald Trump? - The UN Security Council will meet on North Korea's latest missile launch - The "black magic" murder of a little girl prompts arrests - And more in your CareerSpot Global News Briefs:

American citizen and "Gold Star" father Khizr Khan was forced to cancel a speech in Toronto after being informed that his "travel privileges" are "being reviewed".  Mr. Khan - a loyal, stand-up US citizen for three decades and a Muslim - said: "This turn of events is not just of deep concern to me but to all my fellow Americans who cherish our freedom to travel abroad.  I have not been given any reason as to why."  Khan came to prominence during last year's Democratic National Convention in which he accused the chicken hawk Donald Trump having "sacrificed nothing and no one" to America's military ventures, and accused Trump of failing to read the constitution while holding his personal copy aloft.  His son US Army Capt. Humayun Khan was killed in Iraq in 2004 protecting his troops from a roadside bomb.

Donald Trump didn't bother to show up at the public unveiling of the White House's new plan to ban migrants from predominantly Muslim nations.  Aside from the orange clown foolishly trying to keep his fingerprints off of it, the revised version removes Iraq from the previous list of seven countries to see travel restrictions.  It also exempts people who had previously been issued visas - a change that the administration hopes will avoid the chaos, protests, and legal challenges that followed the first order.  However, critics say it does nothing to address the unconstitutional intent to commit religious discrimination of the first order.

Nigeria is warning its citizens to avoid unnecessary travel to the United States because of the uncertainty over its immigration and admission policies as the imbecile Trump administration stumbles over and over again.  Recently, a Nigerian software engineer was forced to prove his credentials as

The head of the FBI James Comey has rejected the orange clown's idiotic claim that President Barack Obama had Trump Tower in New York wiretapped last year.  Trump offered no evidence to back up his allegation that is widely rejected in everyplace except the right-wing fever swamps.  Since wiretaps can only be used if a court finds there is probable cause of terrorism, treason, or other crimes, Trump is either delusional or in pretty big trouble.  The issue has proven embarrassing for White House aides, who are trying to avoid discussing it at all costs.

Four missiles fired by North Korea yesterday came down in Japanese waters, and officials say they may not have been alone.  "There may be a higher number of launches that we're not commenting on.  But four landed and splashed in the Sea of Japan," said Pentagon spokesman and US Navy Captain Jeff Davis.  The launches were in violation of UN sanctions, and Japan and the US have called a special meeting of the United Nations Security Council for Wednesday.

Poland is stabbing its former prime minister Donald Tusk in the back, and putting up a rival candidate to Tusk's attempt to be reelected president of the European Council.  I mean, what kind of country would thwart one of its own sons from becoming the leader of a major international organization?  That's seriously counterproductive and just crazy!  Poland is now run by the reactionary, ultra-right, and ironically-named Law and Justice (PiS) Party; Tusk was Prime Minister during the majority of the mainstream conservative Civic Platform, PiS's chief rival.

France's conservative Republican Party decided to stick with its embattled candidate Francoise Fillon, despite plunging poll numbers linked to the scandal over allegedly hiring his wife to public positions to do non-existent work.  Former Prime Minister Alain Juppe said he would not run for president in the first round of the election on 23 April.  The leaves open the possibility that Marine Le Pen of the racist, xenophobic, fascistic Front National could come in first place, only to be defeated in the second round of voting in May by a centrist or even the ruling Socialist party.  Or, maybe France will go off the deep end.

Police in India arrested three people in the kidnapping and murder of a ten-year old girl, apparently used as a "human sacrifice" in a stupid and bizarre ritual.  A self-styled "sorcerer" in the southern state of Karnataka managed to convince the family of a paralyzed man that the murder was the only way to rid him of the "black magic" that caused the paralysis.  The man's brother and sister are under arrest, as is a 17-year old accomplice.
