Hello Australia!! - Ivanka Trump is booed in Germany - Trump's lawless agenda is falling apart as the 100 day mark closes in - Tom Hardy: Crimebuster!  It's not a movie role - And more in your CareerSpot Global News Briefs:

It's been a while since we checked in on how absolutely worthless the Trump administration is, so.. Ivanka Trump was booed and hissed at a women's conference in Germany when she actually tried to tell attendees who know better that her father Donald Trump had encouraged "thousands" of women who worked for him.  The dutiful first daughter also claimed Trump is a "tremendous champion of supporting families".  The same guy who was caught on tape bragging about sexually abusing women, and in a 2004 interview called pregnancy an "inconvenience" to employers.  And that's just scratching the surface.

First Daughter Advises Trump

W20 Women's Summit In Berlin

Ivanka sat on a panel with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, International Monetary Fund chief Christine Le Larde, Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Chrystia Freeland, and others, failing to fully explain her role as "first daughter" and advisor to the current White House occupant.

A federal judge in California has blocked Trump's executive order to starve funding from "sanctuary cities" that protect undocumented immigrants by refusing to cooperate with Immigration cops.  It's yet another blow for the Trump agenda, much of which the orange clown is trying to accomplish through executive fiat rather than by lawful legislation.  Judges have also quashed his attempts at banning people from predominantly Muslim countries from entering the United States.  FAIL!

Trump's border wall campaign promise appears to be a dud.  The GOP-controlled congress is reportedly working up a spending plan that does not include Trump's top campaign promise of 2016, and he is reportedly backing down.  First Trump claimed that Mexico would pay for it.  When the laughter died down in Mexico City, he tried to get congress to fund it with the vague notion that future trade deals or sanctions or tariffs or something with Mexico would reimburse taxpayers.  With the first 100 days of his administration being marked this weekend, it appears that for all of the bombast and fat mouth blackguard rambling Trump has nothing to show for himself except America's diminished standing in the world.

Donald Trump's former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn likely broke the law by failing to disclose foreign income he earned from Russia and Turkey, according to the ranking Republican and Democrat on the US House Oversight Committee.  "Personally I see no evidence or no data to support the notion that General Flynn complied with the law," said Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah); "He was supposed to get permission, he was supposed to report it, and he didn't," said Democratic Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland.  The committee asked the White House for documents regarding Flynn's selection as National Security Advisor, a position he would hold for less than a month before scandal chased him out; the White House refused.

So, will Trump try to start a war to distract from his problems?  All 100 members of the US Senate are expected to go to the White House on Wednesday afternoon, local time, for a briefing on North Korea.  The administration has expressed increased concern with Pyongyang's missile tests and nuclear weapons program.  China has repeatedly urged the Trump administration to scale back its tough guy rhetoric in dealing with the volatile hermit kingdom.  A similar briefing is being worked up for members of the House of Representatives.

Turkish autocrat Recep Tayyip Erdogan says he is reconsidering position on joining the European Union - which may be just fine with members of the EU after the power grabbing referendum that critics say has damaged Turkey's democratic traditions.  EU lawmakers will debate ties with Turkey on Wednesday, while the bloc's foreign ministers will discuss the issue on Friday.  The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has decided to reopen a political monitoring process against Turkey following the referendum which gave Erdogan (who once had his balls kicked by a horse) the authority to enact laws by decree and dismiss parliament at a whim.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has cancelled talks with Germany's foreign minister because the emissary from Berlin refused to call off a meeting with Israeli human rights activists.  The groups are: B'Tselem, one of Israel's leading human rights groups; and Breaking the Silence, a group of former soldiers that gathers reports on Israeli military abuses of Palestinians.  German FM Sigmar Gabriel said it would be "remarkable" and "unthinkable" if Netanyahu actually went through with the threat.

Lawyers for outgoing Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja "Ahok" Purnama are asking a court to drop blasphemy charges.  Ahok told North Jakarta District Court that he is not guilty of insulting Islam, as political opponents had claimed:  "Though I am slandered, yelled at, condemned because of a different faith and belief, I still serve with love."  This month's election in Jakarta was waged largely over religious and ethnic lines; Ahok is of Chinese lineage and a Christian, and lost by 15 points.

A group claiming to be an affiliate of al Qaeda says it carried out the bombing of a subway train in Saint Petersburg, Russia earlier this month.  The so-called "Imam Shamil Battalion" says it was following direct orders from al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, and that the bombing that killed 16 people was revenge for Russia's military involvement in the Syrian Civil war.

Tanzania has expelled the head of the United Nations Development Program after she criticized local elections in the island of Zanzibar.  Awa Dabo's criticism actually followed the US which pulled half a billion dollars in development funding out of there after the elections which it said were "neither inclusive nor representative".  The opposition boycotted the poll and now says the expulsion of Ms. Dabo is damaging the reputation of Tanzania in international diplomatic circles.

Facebook Live is coming under criticism again after a Thai man filmed himself killing his baby daughter by hanging, before taking his own life - and it took the social media giant 24 hours to remove the gruesome video.  Ask anyone who has ever had a breast cancer awareness meme pulled down within minutes what they think of that!  "This is an appalling incident and our hearts go out to the family of the victim. There is absolutely no place for content of this kind on Facebook and it has now been removed," said Facebook.  Ghouls reposted the video to YouTube, which also took it down.

Brazilian and Paraguayan police have engaged in long-running gun battles with a criminal gang that knocked over a private security firm, stealing as much as US$40 Million in the process.  This is happening in and around the Paraguayan city of Ciudad del Este which is located where the borders of Paraguay, Brazil, and Argentina meet.  After the heist in Paraguay, the gunmen set cars alight and fled in boats down the Parana River to a spot in Brazil where police had already found their getaway cars.  A major operation encompassing both sides of the border is underway.

Tom Hardy might have played a Batman villain, but he's more of a crimefighter in real life.  Mr. Hardy helped chase down and apprehend a teen who allegedly stolen a motorbike in London.  The stolen bike reportedly crashed into a Mercedes (Toms'?) and two teens riding ran off, prompting the Mad Max star to chase the principle driver down through backyards "like an obstacle course".
