Two more women came out on Friday to accuse revolting slug and fascist demagogue Donald Trump of sexual abuse.  The Washington Post broke the story of 46-year old Kristin Anderson who says Trump put his hand "up (her) skirt" when she worked as a server at a Manhattan nightspot in the 1990s.  Ms. Anderson did not contact the paper, rather the reporters had gotten wind of the story and sought her out.  Later in the day, noted attorney Gloria Allred supported former "Apprentice" contestant Summer Zervos who relayed a harrowing tale of Trump forcing himself on her at a Los Angeles hotel, including "thrusting his genitals".

There are now at least seven women accusing Trump of this sort of sexual abuse.  Trump has denied the allegations, attacked the accusers as liars, and insulted the accusers' looks.  On Friday, Trump's running mate and religious zealot Indiana Governor Mike Pence claimed the campaign was going to release evidence that refuted Trump's accusers; late in the day, they admitted no such evidence was coming.  A day earlier, Pence was confronted by an 11-year old girl who was insulted and disturbed by the vile language used by Trump in the now famous video in which he brags about sexually assaulting women - Pence ignored the girl's question and talked about Hillary Clinton's foreign policy record.

Hillary Clinton is preparing for next week's final presidential debate.  Because that's what real leaders do, prepare.

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari responded to criticism from his own wife by saying, "I don't know which party my wife belongs to, but she belongs to my kitchen and my living room and the other room."  And he said this on a visit to Germany, standing next to Chancellor Angela Merkel who greeted this incredibly bone-headed remark with a glare.  President Buhari ought to be riding high after the release of 21 of the Chibok School Girls after two years with their Boko Haram terrorist kidnappers.  But there are concerns about Buhari's leadership, expressed by his wife Aisha Buhari who believes that the administration has been hijacked by an in crowd who are running the country.

A Dutch court set a 31 October date for RWNJ xenophobe politician Geert Wilders to go on trial for alleged hate speech.  He's accused of suggesting that his party will "arrange for" the mass deportation of Muslims at a 2014 rally, and Wilders has been in the courts trying to avoid trial since.  Wilders is one of the big three European xenophobes, along with Marine LePen of France's National Front and Nigel Farage of the UKIP.

Police say a notorious German neo-nazi's DNA was found near the scene of the 2001 murder of a nine-year old girl.  Peggy Knobloch went missing in Bavaria in 2001 and her remains weren't found until last July.  During the years that this case remained unsolved, nazi scum Uwe Boehnhardt was a member of a right-wing terrorist cell that murdered at least ten people, mainly ethnic Turks.  Boehnhardt committed suicide with a co-conspirator in 2011, and his former girlfriend Beate Zschaepe is facing trial for the killings.  German police came under heavy criticism because for years they failed to link the serial killings of Turks to Boehnhardt's group.  Now, they're carefully reexamining the evidence linking the cell to one of the country's most notorious child murders.

Israel has frozen cooperation with the United Nations World Heritage organization UNESCO after it drafted a document denying Jewish historic and cultural ties to the Temple Mount site in Jerusalem (.pdf link).  The document recognizes that all three religions following the God of Abraham revere the Temple Mount site, but decidedly refers to it only by its Muslim name al Haram al Sharif.  Israeli cooperation in maintaining access is important, and now even the chief of UNESCO Irina Bokova is criticizing the draft, noting that "different peoples worship the same places, sometimes under different names. The recognition, use of and respect for these names is paramount."

Suspected Islamic State militants are suspected in the attack on an Egyptian army checkpoint in the Sinai Peninsula that killed twelve soldiers.  The militants opened fire on the checkpoint with light arms and heavy machine-guns, in the latest of what appears to be an escalation of attacks on Egyptian authorities.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will visit hurricane-ravaged Haiti practically empty-handed.  The international community largely ignored Mr. Ban's plea for US$120 Million in emergency aid for the country after Hurricane Matthew killed almost 1,000 people and leveled entire villages, kicking in only five percent of what was requested.  On Saturday, Mr. Ban will attempt to draw attention to the plight of 1.2 million Haitians in need of immediate aid by visiting the worst hit village, Les Cayes on the southern coast.

US President Barack Obama has lifted the $100 limit on goods that Americans can bring back home from visits to its new pal Cuba.  That means people can bring home more cigars (yuck) and real Cuban rum (YAY!).  Mr. Obama also loosened restrictions on US-Cuban medical cooperation, shipping traffic, and the sale of US goods to Cuba online.

Burkina Faso is asking France to release its files on the late, great Thomas Sankara, often referred to as Africa's Che Guevara.  Mr. Sankara's widow and supporters have repeatedly accused France of masterminding Sankara's 1987 assassination, leading to the installation of dictator Blaise Compaore who was friendly with the Western powers until he was overthrown in 2014.  While France used the alliance to keep a thumb on its former African colonies, Compaore reversed Sankara's policies of universal education and health care, and equality for women.
