Hello Australia!! - Harry and Meghan's step back from the Royals is even deeper than first reported - Rage is heightening growing inequality - What are the US Space Force uniforms supposed to accomplish? - And more in your CareerSpot Global News Briefs:

Buckingham Palace announced the Prince Harry and Meghan "will not use their HRH titles as they are no longer working members of the Royal Family," referring to the abbreviation of His/Her Royal Highness.  The statement was repeated on Harry and Meghan's new website RoyalSussex.com.  They'll also repay around US$3.1 Million in public money that was spent on renovating their Windsor home, Frogmore Cottage, which will serve as their UK residence when they're not pursuing their new lives in Canada.  So when this chapter in the Windsor soap opera started, Harry and Meghan had announced they were carving out a "progressive, new role" within the royal framework.  This weekend, it's no HRH, no royal duties, no military appointments, no tours, and no public money - and they seem to be just fine with that.  So, maybe there'$ a lot more to thi$ $tory than meets the eye.

In Lebanon, a bunch of people who never had to worry about having an HRH on their names fought street battles with security forces in Beirut over rising inequality.  More than 220 people were hurt on both sides, dozens requiring hospitalization as police fired rubber bullets directly at the heads and arms of protesters.  No progress had been made in addressing the protesters concerns in the past three months of demonstrations, but there had been a lull in the action over the New Year Holiday.  But in that time, more people lost their jobs in economic crisis - they can't pay for groceries or make their rent, and there is a widespread perception that a do-nothing government of technocrats just does not care.  The protesters promise to return to the streets on Sunday.

French President Emmanuel Macron and wife Brigitte had to be hustled out of a theater in Paris after economic protesters showed up and tried to enter.  Police pushed the protesters back - but they also arrested another audience member at Bouffes du Nord theatre for tweeting about the presence of the increasingly unpopular president, claiming that he allegedly incited violence and property damage.  France has been rocked by several weeks of strikes and protests demanding the Macron government drop plans to overhaul the pension system that workers say will leave them worse off.

Earlier in the day, the Yellow Vests returned to the streets of Paris to battle police.

The US Department of Defense was quite proud of the design of the newly unveiled Space Force uniforms.

And some liked it, but social media was soon lit up with laughter over the camouflage pattern of the fabric.  Because there aren't a lot of trees and bushes in space to blend in with.  The Air Force, which apparently is giving birth to the Space Force, said it picked camo to save money and use fabric already available to the military.  And after all, this is the US attempt to militarize space.
