Adam Scott is the first Aussie to win The Masters and take home the Green Jacket, beating Angel Cabrera in a sudden-death playoff at Augusta National.  And you'll see it right here on CareerSpot.

Scott was tied with Cabrera when both men made matching birdies on the 72nd hole.  Both made par on the first extra hole.  But then Scott rolled in a 12-footer for birdie to win it.

“Australia is a proud sporting nation,” Scott said, “and this is one notch in the belt that we had never got.”

The ball wasn’t the only thing to vanish in that hole, Scott’s past performances were vindicated, especially the final-round loss at last July’s British Open.  So was the collapse way back in 1996 at Greg Norman’s heartbreaking loss to Nick Faldo at the Masters.

Another Australian, Jason Day, was alone in third, two strokes back, after a final-round 70.
