Five people were killed when a chartered bus swerved off the road in Belgium and plunged off a bridge into a dry riverbed.

Investigators say there apparently was no other vehicle involved.  The bus might have been going as fast as 100 KPH.  But for some reason, it braked sharply, crashed through a guardrail, and soared down an embankment into the dry riverbed.

The bus was chartered from Poland, and was carrying Russian teenagers on their way to Paris.  Three of the dead are teens; the other two are the Polish Drivers.  19 people are recovering from injuries and six are in serious to critical condition.  Most of the teens are from Volgograd.

The crash is under investigation.
