Australian and Dutch have finally been able to access the wheat field in eastern Ukraine where Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 came crashing to the ground killing all 298 people on board, after being targeted by an anti-aircraft missile launched by Russian-backed rebels.

OSCE experts confirmed have confirmed what Foreign Minister Julie Bishop had stated – that as many as 80 bodies remain at the site, which had been inaccessible all week because of fighting nearby and blatant inference from the rebels.

After negotiations, two Australian investigators were allowed to the site on Thursday.  They got less than an hour and a half to being their inspection.  Federal Police who traveled to Donetsk were hoping to send a 60-man forces on Friday.  But despite the backing of parliament in Kiev (which the pro-Russian separatists couldn't care less about), it’s not clear when that will happen.
