Two Australians were badly gored on the last day of this year’s Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain.  A Spanish man was also gored, and yet another Aussie was injured in the longest run on the clock, taking four minutes and 47 seconds from beginning to end.

The bull named Olivito got separated from the pack of five other bulls and six steers on the 800-meter path from the pen to the bullfighting ring.  He turned around and charged a 26-year old Australian man identified by authorities with his initials as JG, goring him in the chest, abdomen, and left thigh.  Another man tried to distract Olivito, but to no avail.

Olivito also got another Australian identified as JM, a 24-year old from Gernfell, NSW, in the man’s thigh.  JM was treated and released from hospital.  JG underwent emergency treatment and his injuries are not life-threatening, according to officials.

Meanwhile, authorities are still searching for the man who snapped a selfie while running with the bulls earlier in the festival.  That’s not allowed, because it puts himself and anyone around him at risk.  If they catch up with the man known as #eltontolmovil (or, “the idiot with the mobile”), he could face a fine of A$4,300.
