Europe’s Horsemeat scandal has trotted into one of the continent’s biggest retailers, furniture giant Ikea, which pulled its signature Swedish Meatballs off of the shelves in 14 countries.

Ikea’s in-house testing for horse DNA in the meatballs turned up negative, but Czech food inspectors ran their own tests and found it.  Ikea is running another batch of tests to confirm or disprove the Czech findings.

Last week Nestlé took ready-made pasta meals from store shelves in Italy and Spain and most of the big supermarket chains in Britain have withdrawn tainted meat products, including millions of hamburgers.
