Mortar fire killed at least 15 students at the University of Damascus in Syria’s capital.  The government was quick to blame rebels, who’ve been increasing the use of mortars as fighting in Damascus gets worse.

State-run TV reported the mortar hit the cafeteria and showed a mess of broken glass and upturned chairs, with blood all over the floor.  Human rights activists confirm several injuries.

Rebels used mortars in an attack two days earlier that killed three people and wounded dozens more.

Meanwhile to the north, There are conflicting reports on how some 600 refugees were repatriated from a refugee camp Turkey back to Syria.  A camp source said they were deported, both Ankara is denying that.

It all seems to have stemmed from a riot in Suleymansah Refugee camp.  Syrians were upset over conditions in the facility, especially after the death of a child in a fire.  They pelted police with rocks, police responded with water cannons and tear gas.

25 thousand Syrian War Refugees live in this camp; 175 thousand more live in other camps and another 70 thousand have rented homes in Turkey.
