German Police are searching for two suspects who beat a chef to death in a dispute over what local media reports say was fried noodles.

57-year-old Chef Miki Nozawa is originally from Japan is was somewhat of a star in Japanese-Italian Fusion Cuisine.  He was the owner-operator of his own namesake restaurant on the resort island of Sylt along Germany’s North Sea coast.

Two suspects aged 36 and 50, reportedly skilled workers, reportedly did not like the way their fried noodles with vegetables and beef was prepared and left without paying the check.

Local media reports suggest Nozawa followed them to a table-dance bar and demanded payment.  During the dispute, they viciously beat Nozawa.  He died of a brain hemorrhage in the intensive care section of the local hospital.

The two men are at large.  It is not yet known if they live on the island or were working there.
