A baby born of an emergency caesarean section when his young parents were killed in a hit and run accident, has himself died.  New York City police are hunting the occupants of the grey BMW sedan that caused all the trouble.

Raizy and Nachman Glauber, each 21 years old, were members of a closely-knit Satmar Hasidic Jewish community in Brooklyn.  They were rushing to hospital when the BMW plowed into the side of their taxi, killing the young couple.  The occupants of the sedan took off on foot.

Emergency Physicians delivered the baby via Caesarean and the boy had been in intensive care, but at just 1.8 kilograms died early Monday.  He will be buried alongside his parents in upstate New York.

Members of the Hasidic Community are outraged and are demanding that the people in the car eventually be charged with triple-homicide.

Police already charged the owner of the car with fraud because she allegedly put her name on the paperwork with the intention of allowing someone else to operate the vehicle.
