Federal police raided a Queensland Islamic center and book store in Logan they say is linked to the conflict in Syria.  Two men were arrested, including the 31-year-old brother of Australia's first suicide bomber who is the founder of the center.

Neil Gaughan of the AFP says weapons were recovered from the center. 

Federal police moved in on the iQraa Islamic Centre at Underwood and took 31-year Omar Succarieh of Kuraby into custody as well as an unidentified 21-year-old man from Boronia.  Succarieh’s brother Ahmed also went by Abu Asma al Australi, and is suspected of being the first Australian suicide bomber to die in the Syrian Civil War. 

Succarieh will be charged with providing funds to the terrorist organization al Nusra Front, and with preparing for incursions into Syria.  The 21-year old will be charged with preparing for incursions into Syria and with recruiting fighters to join the conflict.
