London Police are confirming that English Defense League graffiti was scrawled on the wall of an Islamic Community Center that burned down in an overnight arson attack.

The Met’s Counter-Terrorism Command unit is leading an investigation into the blaze at the building that housed the Al-Rahma Islamic Centre and Somali Bravanese Welfare Association in Muswell Hill.

The Met is confirming the letters “EDL” were spray painted on the wall off the burned out building.  Critics say the EDL is a rag tag group of often-homely and morbidly obese racists known for their lack of hygiene and use of violence.

There has been a significant increase in reports of attacks against Muslims since British soldier Lee Rigby was murdered in Woolwich last month by two men claiming Islamist motives.
