U Can’t Touch This, or at least a California Mall Cop should have known when he tried to arrest Rapper Stanley Kirk Burrell, better known to the world as MC Hammer.  The subject of this police action is suggesting “racial profiling” had more than a little to do with it.

Hammer was chillin’ and kickin’ it in his ride (translation: sitting in his car) at the Hacienda Crossing Mall in a Bay Area suburb when the mall cop tapped on his window and started questioning him.  Hammer live blogged the whole thing on his Twitter account, referring to the mall cop has a “chubby, Elvis-looking dude” who tried and failed to lift the 50-year old performer out of the car.

"It was comical to me until he pulled out his guns, blew his whistle and yelled for help," Hammer tweeted. "But make no mistake he's dangerous. (The) only thing more dangerous than a scared man with a gun, is a scared man with an agenda, a gun and a badge.”

Lacking any actual wrongdoing (perhaps because Hammer is 2 Legit), police arrested Hammer for “obstruction” and took him to the dank and nasty Santa Rita jail, where curiously, he didn’t have to wait the usual 48 hours before being released.

A day earlier, Hammer took part in his usual Friday morning gig in which he counsels inmates at San Quentin prison on fitting back into society after release.

"Instead of being bitter,” Hammer Tweets, “I'm taking the opportunity to make this a 'teachable moment' and 'eye opener' for my many friends & colleagues."
