A Syrian SCUD-Type missile killed more than 20 people in a rebel-held area of the North City of Aleppo, as the government increasingly turns to long-range weapons to compensate for losing bases to the insurgents.

25 people are missing in the rubble of the missile strike.  Some of the victims are children.  Rebels landed three mortar rounds on the Presidential Palace in Damascus, but President Bashar al-Assad really isn’t there all that much anymore because of the 2 year civil war.

It’s not just missiles killing harming in Syria.  The disruption to Syria’s infrastructure led to water from the Euphrates River being contaminated with raw sewage and therefore becoming infected with Typhoid, sickening some 2,500 people.  Typhoid can be fatal if left untreated.
