A California preschool teacher is under arrest and charged with Felony Child Endangerment for allegedly drugging her tiny students with the over-the-counter sleep aid “Sominex”.

59-year old Deborah Gratz was arrested after police searched her home south of the Silicon Valley in Hollister, the town made famous in the Marlon Brando movie “The Wild One”.  She was immediately dismissed from the “Kiddie Academy” school in a nearby town.

A witness claimed to see Gratz putting a substance into the kids’ drinks on Friday morning.  Police say they would have liked to have been informed earlier, and didn’t get to search Gratz’ home until Monday afternoon.

Sominex is intended for adults, and NOT to be used for inducing nap time in little kids as young as 1 and 2 years old.

Some parents are alarmed and are taking their kids to the doctor to determine if there’s any link from the drugging to any health problems.
