Australia ranks among the worst nations when it comes to bringing Nazi war criminals to justice.  That’s according to the Simon Weisenthal Center, which brings the perpetrators of the holocaust to justice.

The Weisenthal Center is most disappointed about the Australian High Court’s decision to block extradition of former Hungarian Soldier Charles Zentai.  The 90-year-old Perth resident is accused of murdering a Jewish teen back in 1944.  Zentai has denied the allegation.

The United States scored an "A" on the report, with Canada, Germany, Hungary, Italy and Serbia each earning a "B".

Australia, Austria, The Baltic nations, and Syria were among the lowest ranked nations for bringing World War II criminals to justice.

The report came out just before Yom HaShoah, the 60th consecutive observation of Holocaust Remembrance Day to honor the 6 million Jews murdered by the Nazis in World War II, observed by Jews on 8 April of this year.
