London Mayor Sadiq Khan says the UK ought to cancel Donald Trump's visit because the orange clown retweeted racist anti-Muslim videos from a British far-right group.  "Trump yesterday use Twitter to promote a vile, extremist group that exists solely to sow division and hatred in our country," said Mayor Khan, "As the mayor of this great diverse city, I have previously called on Theresa May to cancel her ill-judged offer of a state visit."  May, however, is not rescinding her invitation to the moron, even after Trump dissed her for condemning his racism.

At least one British parliamentarian wants Trump's visit to the UK to go on:  "Trump should be arrested for inciting racial hatred if May allows him to set foot on UK soil," said MP Paul Flynn of Newcastle West, Wales.  Earlier this week, Trump retweeted racist anti-Muslim propaganda videos from the group Britain First, the videomaker previously convicted of a felony for religiously aggravated harassment for abusing at a Muslim woman in a hijab.

Amnesty International says Syria is committing war crimes "on an epic scale" by using Russian-made cluster bombs on a rebel-held enclave outside Damascus.  The 400,000 civilians trapped in eastern Ghouta were already dealing with a malnutrition crisis because of Syria's chokehold around it, "But this recent escalation in attacks - clearly targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure using internationally banned cluster munitions - is horrific," said Amnesty's Philip Luther, as quoted by the ABC.  The UN is pushing for Syria and Russia to stop the onslaught to allow for the evacuation of 500 people with urgent medical needs.

France is tightening controls on food imports after discovering traces of radioactive caesium on mushrooms from Russia.  This comes just weeks after European monitors detected high radiation levels in Russia, and the state weather agency discovered ruthenium-106 at nearly a thousand times normal levels in the Ural mountains near the Mayak nuclear power plant.  The state-owned nuclear power agency is denying anything went wrong at the plant.

The leader of Iceland's Left-Green Party is the new Prime Minister, leading a three-party coalition at restoring some stability.  The former ruling party was voted out after a scandal in which the old PM's father tried to legally "restore the honor" of a convicted pedophile.  The 41-year old new PM Katrin Jakobsdottir says her priorities are healthcare, education, and transport infrastructure; sustaining Iceland's economic recovery from the 2008 financial crash; and improving gender equality and LGBT rights.

Honduras is moving towards a crisis, as the Leftist candidate in the presidential election is accusing the government of stealing his apparent victory.  Salvador Nasralla was ahead in the vote count, and is now accusing the election court - which is allied with conservative President Juan Orlando Hernandez - of manipulating the results in favor of the incumbent.  "They take us for idiots and want to steal our victory," Mr. Nasralla said.  Police clashed with Nasralla's supporters as tensions got worse.
